We use our phones for everything these days—except making phone calls. U.K. researchers, way back in 2014 found that phones were used for texting, surfing the Net and as an alarm clock much more frequently than for phoning friends and relatives. You Better be Responsive!

So, this one is a no-brainer. If your content isn’t viewed beautifully on mobile devices, it’s time you work on building a responsive content machine that is optimized for all devices. Mobile marketing is the leading trend this year.

In April last year, Google changed the way results appear based on websites deemed mobile-friendly. Content that is easily viewed on mobile devices will be better optimized for Google. Use this Mobile Friendly Test Tool, provided by Google, to check if your site is effective.

People are using their desktops less for searching, reading and watching videos, opting for their mobile companion to do all that work. If your content doesn’t fit the mobile world, hop to it.
